• Summary

  We seek a candidate for a post-doctoral fellowship for the project which aims to develop the Latinfoods Food Composition Web Portal, following the Brazilian Food Composition Table (TBCA/USP) model. The project will be developed at the Food Research Center (FoRC) – one of the Research, Innovation and Dissemination Centers (RIDCs) supported by the São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP) and based at the School of Pharmaceutical Sciences of the University of São Paulo (FCF-USP) in Brazil – and by Food Composition Data Brazilian Network (Brasilfoods).

  For this position, the candidate must have:

  - Obtained the PhD in the last 7 years;
  - At least one scientific publication as first author in an indexed journal;
  - Fluency in English.
  - Experience with food composition data production: sampling, sample handling, analytical methods and analytical data quality;
  - Experience in Managing Food Composition Databases, Reference Databases, Matching/Aggregation of Data and User Database.

  Attributes considered desirable for the position:

  - Training on Food Composition (FAO/INFOODS) certificate;
  - Experience with estimation of chemical composition of food/preparations; 
  - Experience with project management 
  - Experience in developing information systems;
  - Experience in website development UI/UX Designer.

  This opportunity is open to candidates of any nationality. The selected candidate will receive a FAPESP’s Post-Doctoral fellowship in the amount of R$ 8,479.20 monthly and a research contingency fund, equivalent to 10% of the annual value of the fellowship which should be spent in items directly related to the research activity.
